Position: Accountant Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time Location: Medford, NY Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 Days/Hours: Description: The Accountant will apply accounting principles to prepare financial reports, compile financial information, analyze financial data, and ensure financial compliance. They are also responsible for the month-end close processes. Days/Hours: Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm Duties and Responsibilities: --- Coordinate the monthly accounting close for all entities. --- Prepare financial and budget-to-actual reports for investors, funders and internal purposes. --- Assists with the annual financial statement audits. --- Record financial transactions through multiple sources including: --- accounts payable --- accounts receivable --- bank activity --- credit cards --- purchase orders --- Maintain client accounts. --- Special projects as needed. --- Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings. Requirements: A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in accounting. Bachelor's degree in accounting or other related business field preferred. Individual must be highly detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels in the organization is a must. Experience with NetSuite a plus. Experience in not-for-profit or real estate development a plus.
