Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment in the Accounting + Finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our accounting department's daily operations, ensuring our financial management is accurate and effective.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
Assist with the preparation of financial analysis reports.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the workflow of the department.
Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
Monitor and analyze accounting data.
Produce financial reports or statements.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
Coordinate and complete annual audits.
Meet financial accounting objectives.
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Train and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
5+ years' experience in accounting or related field.
Proficient in accounting software.
Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
Good problem-solving and time management skills.
High attention to detail.
Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas).
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
