What we’re looking for...

You’re tech-savvy and well-versed in all things telecommunications. Working independently suits you well. You’re also thorough, vigilant, and on top of the details—someone people count on to solve problems and to make sure they don’t happen in the first place.

You'll need to have:

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree or Telecommunications/Networking certification.

  • Advanced troubleshooting skills to support all transmission levels, DS1 – OC192 including Ethernet.

  • Experience in the telecom/wireless industry with recent technology.

  • Knowledge of SONET ring, DWDM and WDM fiber systems.

  • Knowledge of basic Customer Premise Equipment installation and troubleshooting.

If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
