Pay Rate: $25-$30 hourly.
Pay is Bi-weekly
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM (1 hour lunch)
Must be okay with working weekends if necessary.
Excellent attendance is a must for this position!
Mechanics do not need to have their A&P certification but must have knowledge/experience working on aircrafts.
Job Duties
- Schedule maintenance checks
- Diagnose mechanical or electrical issues
- Repair wings, brakes, electrical systems, and other aircraft components
- Must be sturdy with power tools and hand tools
- Examine/replace, if necessary, aircraft parts for defects
- Read maintenance manuals to ensure proper repair procedures
- Test aircraft parts with gauges/other diagnostic equipment
- Inspect aircraft to ensure it meets performance standards
- Structure work
- Interior work on A/C
- Proficient in part changing
- Must be able to work with heavy maintenance in hangar
- C-Checks
- Certified with Forklift
- Experience with scissor/boom lift
