We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic – Avionics to join our team in San Antonio, TX. The role involves applying advanced technical knowledge to troubleshoot, test, and modify aircraft avionics systems. This position requires extensive experience on fighter platforms, particularly the F-15 , and the ability to solve complex avionics problems that go beyond standard manuals and references.
Key Responsibilities

• Apply advanced technical knowledge to analyze and solve complex avionics issues.
• Perform circuit analysis, waveform calculations, and signal flow tracing.
• Utilize advanced test equipment such as frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, pulse generators, and computer-controlled systems.
• Conduct bench and flight line testing/troubleshooting in compliance with DoD, manufacturer, and company directives.
• Assemble, install, test, and modify wire bundles and aircraft systems.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and leadership to less experienced technicians.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions.
• Diagnose and correct malfunctions in assembly processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including Hazardous Energy and Lock Out/Tag systems.
• Support mission requirements, including variable shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime when necessary.
• Assist other team members across mechanical, structural, and electrical disciplines to meet project targets.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with aircraft avionics systems (Comm/Nav, Data Links, Weapons, Radar, Electronic Warfare).
• 8+ years of experience interpreting schematics, drawings, and standard operating procedures.
• Experience working with aircraft computer systems and office software.
• Hands-on experience with F-15 or other fighter platforms .
• Ability to lift 35 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite in San Antonio, TX.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EPAWSS Modification .
• Experience with COMSEC, Radar, and Electronic Warfare Systems .
• Previous work on fighter platforms beyond the F-15.
