Job Description

USGS in Wilmington, NC is looking for reliable and independent minded team members to join our team. Our ideal candidate is at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with dependable transportation. Part-time/Full-time positions available. Must be willing to work rotating shifts during the week, weekends and holidays. Starting pay is $15/hr

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage onto bag carts or conveyors for transport on an aircraft.
• Must be able to lift and move at least 50 lbs, sometimes over your head
• Operate ground support equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts
• Coordinate with fellow team members to ensure all bags have been loaded on the aircraft.
• Must have the capability to engage in physical exertion for short periods of time while working outside in the elements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at ALL times.

Qualifications

• No experience required. On the job training provided.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and airline personnel
• Strong time management skills to ensure on time departures
• Basic mechanical knowledge for operating equipment
• Must be dependable and reliable and available to arrive on time for all shifts.
• Driver's license is required as well as dependable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
