Configure application settings• Provide go-live and rollout support• Interface with users/clients across the Montefiore Health System. Support users on new applications, modules, and functionality• Mentor and guide Application Analysts• Perform analysis of necessary application modifications and work with the appropriate Montefiore IT associates or the vendor to coordinate the modification• Determine how a new system, upgrade, or new component can best meet the needs of the users:o Analyze business/clinical needs and requirementso Interpret end user requirements, by fully discussing potential options, and help client move towards optimal solutiono Evaluate the operational workflow that is applied to the systemo Create system specifications from user requirements• Create test plans and test new systems, version upgrades, and any system modifications. Document all outcomes of testing• Application implementation, troubleshooting, and support• Participate in technical integration and interface build• Write and maintain accurate and current documentation Participate in the maintenance of training materials and disseminate materials to users• Provide day-to-day operational support, advanced application troubleshooting support, coordinate modifications and updates, recommend improvements & increase efficiencies and provide pro-active monitoring• Provide 24 x 7 on-call coverage for user support on a rotating basis• On an as-needed basis, provide on-site support within the Montefiore Medical Center hospitals and/or its’ affiliates (on-site, rotational support)**Required:**• EPIC certifications• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Nursing, Health Informatics, or a related field. Experience will be considered in place of a degree• 2+ years of related clinical or business experience• Experience with perioperative services industry, including Pre-Op, Post-Op, Intraoperative nursing care. Strong consideration will be given to candidates with significant nursing experience and a demonstrated aptitude for IT.• Strong technical skills including Windows, UNIX• Application implementation, troubleshooting, testing, and support experience• Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio• Technical understand of hardware, networking and servers• Knowledge of device integration• Critical thinking skills• Excellent interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills.• Must be adaptable in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities• MEETING ALL REQUIREMENTS FOR EPIC CERTIFICATION IS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**Desired:**• EPIC Optime and Anesthesia certifications• Device Integration knowledge• Prior experience with Provation, and Epic Lumens• Understanding of HL7 and other health related standards• RN, PA or clinical experience is a plus**Note:**Meeting all requirements for Epic certification is a condition of employment.Montefiore requires employees to be available to work on-site when required.#SF-DICE-MIT#LI-MFMontefiore Health System, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer.
