Assistant Controller with Private Equity Experience

As an integral part of our equity accounting team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting for our portfolios. Responsibilities:

• Supervise property/debt investment accounting staff, review reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Oversee monthly closing/consolidation for portfolios.
• Analyze budget-to-actuals, prepare/review financial statements, and investor reports.
• Monitor compliance with Fund agreements and investor letters.
• Manage investment/incentive fee calculations, joint venture waterfall, and distributions.
• Oversee audits, third-party relationships, and Performance Reporting Accounting staff.
• Ensure internal controls, perform ad hoc accounting duties.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in real estate/private equity industry.
• Experience with financial statements and fair value reporting.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage workloads.
• Bachelor's in business administration (accounting concentration preferred).
• CPA license and public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills, adaptability to technology changes.
