The Department of Political Science at the University of Mississippi invites applications to fill a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor in Comparative Politics, starting Fall 2025. The Department is foremost interested in hiring an excellent candidate, but the successful candidate must be able to contribute half their teaching load to the Environmental Studies program (the courses should be on some aspect of environmental politics). They should also be able to contribute to the graduate program in Political Science. We welcome applications from members of groups traditionally underrepresented in the field, as well as from applicants already holding Assistant rank.
