Job Duties: Associate, Trade Processing with Folio Financial, Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah. Collaborate with traders, strategists, controllers, legal, underwriters, technologists, and other operational groups on implementing new businesses and products, trade facilitation, exception management and risk mitigation across the various desks’ investing strategizes. Analyze, test, and implement new products or activities while accounting for potential market risk due to the highly structured nature of transactions. Requires: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: financial products, including experience with one or more of the following: banking services, equities, mutual funds, alternative assets, corporate actions, billing, or account management; functional oversight of products including banking services, equities, mutual funds, alternative assets, corporate actions, billing; navigating new financial products that are introduced to the market and assisting senior management in initiatives on new instruments that are being developed and offered to our clients; and advanced Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint including working with formulas and functions including Vlookup, Index, Match and Pivot tables.
