HT Connect Ltd, an AV tech company is looking for a local Audio Visual Technician in the Dallas, Texas Area.
An ideal candidate must be based in the Dallas area and able to travel within the United States of America to oversee installations of BeMatrix LED Wall system. 

• BeMatrix LED system installation and dismantling
• Oversee LED Wall show runs
• Our professionals undergo training in safety, client relations, professionalism, and exposure to the latest technology
• Set up and operate media equipment for live events and tradeshows
• As an AV technician, you will be responsible for organizing and installing media equipment such as projectors, microphones, video monitors, sound boards and scenic
• Meeting with Event Coordinators to discuss audio, lighting, video and scenic requirements
• Setting up and installing microphones, lights, video monitors, projectors, speakers, and video cameras
• Conducting sound, visual, and performance quality checks on AV equipment
• Operating sound and visual equipment during live events
• Troubleshooting equipment and ensuring events run smoothly
• Providing outstanding customer service to the clients and venue staff
• Carrying out quality control procedures at our local shop in Desoto, Texas
• Carrying out any other AV related tasks as may be assigned by the General Manager and Company’s Directors

An ideal candidate:

 
- Should have good knowledge of all AV disciplines including audio, projection, video, lighting, livestreaming and related fields.

 
- Acts as audio-visual trouble shooter to help solve any equipment problems. - Ability to work independently, as well as in teams under pressure and time restrains.

 
- Must have outstanding customer service skills along with technical knowledge.

 
- Must have high level computer skills and knowledge 

 
- Must be Very Punctual, Extremely Reliable and Detail Oriented. - Decision-making, problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as AV tech and familiar with BeMatrix LED system
• Excellent troubleshooting skills both physically and remotely 
• High level of physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment, about 40 lbs
• Ability to climb ladder, scaffolding or transported by forklifts 
• Ability to demonstrate organizing and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A keen eye for details
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Experience:
• Audio Visual: 5 years (preferred)

 

  Licence/Certification: Driver's Licence (preferred)
