Job Purpose

JVM Solutions is hiring Audiology Technicians to support Processing Center in El Paso, TX. This role ensures that Members receive high-quality medical support.

• See the patient per hour average of the other collective CPs, unless affected by circumstances beyond their control.
• Comply with all productivity standards and maintain a level of productivity comparable with that of other individuals performing similar services.
• Receive service members, explain methods of procedures, position service members, perform diagnostic radiographic service to service members.
• Technologists shall perform independent audiology examinations.
• Perform otoscopic examinations and rotate as scheduled.
• Conducts hearing tests in multi-person sound booth using DOEHRS-HC and rotate as scheduled to include sanitizing or disinfecting.
• Restock supplies, maintain, clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments, equipment, and worksurfaces.
• Complete daily function checks & biological calibrations.
• Review test results for quality control, contrast, detail, and adequate demonstration of hearing.
• Document test results.
• Maintain documentation of all tests provided in accordance with directives and prepare such records and reports as may be required by the policy.
• Seek advice of consultants when appropriate.
• Advise the Medical Commander of the clinic where contracted services are being provided of any problems encountered or anticipated in connection with meeting the needs of service members treated.
• Abide by all facility rules, regulations, and policies.
• Perform all duties in such a manner that they meet all Joint Commission standards.

• High school equivalent or completion of an occupational hearing conservationists' course or show evidence of training and certification obtained through the Army, Navy, or Air Force hearing programs.
• Certification as a Hearing Conservationist by the Council of Accreditation of Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOCH) is highly desired but not required.
• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as an Audiology Technician within the last 3 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, maintained in a current status.

• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
