Duties and Responsibilities
As an Aviation Enforcement Agent, you will engage in aviation-based law enforcement operations that protect our borders from illegal threats. Key responsibilities include:
Salary and Benefits
Begin your career as an Aviation Enforcement Agent and earn between $106,000 and $127,000 annually, depending on your qualifications at the GS-11 level along with potential additional compensation from overtime pay (up to 25% of your salary). Your starting pay will include special salary rates, Law Enforcement Availability Pay (LEAP), and incentives.
This role offers a pathway to promotions through a structured career ladder from GS-11 to GS-13.

Qualifications
Experience: To qualify for the GS-11 level, you need at least one year of specialized aviation experience involving:

You must have a current FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification, including:
Flight Hours: You should have 1,500 flight hours (with potential waivers allowing a minimum of 1,000 hours). Additionally, you need:
Medical Requirements: An FAA Class 2 medical certificate is required.
