Key Responsibilities:

  • Department Operations: Oversee bakery and deli operations, ensuring readiness, proper staffing, compliance with policies, and a clean, safe environment.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory processes including ordering, receiving, and back stock, while ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Merchandising: Ensure high standards of product presentation through effective stocking, rotation, and maintenance of displays.
  • Food Preparation: Supervise fresh food preparation, maintaining the highest food safety standards.
  • Safety Management: Take responsibility for the safety programs and training within your department to minimize risk.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
  • One year of previous supervisory experience in a bakery, restaurant, or food service environment preferred.
  • Clear communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Frequent overhead reaching, bending, and fine motor skills required.
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously during shifts.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, cleaning chemicals, and potential allergens.
  • Employment may be contingent upon completion of a background check and drug screening.
