The Universal Banker is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and performing various banking duties. This role involves handling customer transactions, opening new accounts, and assisting with basic banking inquiries. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with a passion for helping others and a desire to learn about financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional assistance with banking services.
• Process routine transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers.
• Assist customers in opening checking, savings, and other types of accounts.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding account balances, transaction details, and general banking products.
• Provide guidance on basic financial services, including loan applications and credit card offerings.
• Identify customer needs and refer them to appropriate banking personnel for more advanced services (e.g., mortgage loans, financial planning).
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with daily branch operations, including balancing cash drawers and ATMs.
• Promote bank products and services to enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of financial products and services is a plus, but not required.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computers and banking software systems.
