Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst/Developer to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and developing databases, generating reports and dashboards, and gathering and documenting business requirements. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Database Development & Management
Design, build, and maintain data models, data warehouses, and ETL processes.
Optimize database performance and ensure data quality and integrity.
Integrate data from various sources (e.g., ERP, CRM, external APIs) into centralized systems.
Reporting & Data Visualization
Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
Ensure reports are accurate, user-friendly, and aligned with business goals.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver insights to support business performance.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
Work with business to understand their analytical and reporting needs.
Translate business needs into technical specifications and BI requirements documents.
Develop user guides, data dictionaries, and documentation for BI solutions.
Collaboration & Communication
Liaise between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure BI solutions meet user requirements.
Provide training and support for users on BI tools and dashboards.
Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging BI technologies.
Qualifications
~ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
~3+ years of experience in BI development, data analysis, or a similar role.
~ Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
~ Hands-on experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
~ Experience with R365, Toast, Resy is a plus
