Responsibilities of the CFO:

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
• Provide financial leadership and guidance to support the strategic decision-making process.
• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Identify and assess financial risks, implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address financial challenges and opportunities.
• Work closely with the executive team and Board of Directors to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive financial culture within the organization.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and performance evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting requirements, and ethical standards.
• Responsible for making sure accuracy in Medicaid/Medicare billing & coding.
• Provide support for audits and reviews as needed.

Qualifications of the CFO:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• MBA/CPA preferred
• Healthcare experience
• Knowledge of non-profit accounting principles and compliance
