Xingyun Cai M.M. ’25 Graduate Recital
Xingyun Cai M.M. ’25 will present her graduate recital, “In Your Eyes,” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15, in the Campbell Student Union Auditorium. Love defies all odds — just like starlight surviving cosmic distances to reach the earth. During this recital, when show tunes meet pop melodies under a canopy of stars, we’ll celebrate those miraculous one-in-six-billion connections that make life extraordinary.
Rachael Jasien ’25 Student Recital
Rachael Jasien ’25, a soprano vocal performance major, will present her senior recital at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 17, in the H. F. Johnson Recital Hall. The recital features a program of vocal works by various composers, including Francesca Caccini, Claudio Monteverdi, Antonio Vivaldi, and others, with performances by Nathan Koehlert ’25 (tenor), Jenna Meola ’25 (soprano), and Professor Gregory Berg on piano.
Alice Barlow ’25 Student Recital
Attend a captivating vocal recital presented by Alice Barlow ’25 at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 17, in the H. F. Johnson Recital Hall. This performance will feature a wonderful program of musical selections, accompanied by piano. Experience an afternoon of beautiful melodies and artistry in this musical event.
Willow Newell ’25 Student Recital
Musical theatre student Willow Newell ’25 will present a recital called “Regalia” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 17, in the H. F. Johnson Recital Hall. The recital will include 10 of Willow’s favorite pieces learned at Carthage and a character study on Elphaba from “Wicked.” Willow will be accompanied by Yu Mei Chang M.M. ’22 on the piano and joined by EJ Freed M.M. ’25, Qingchen Yao M.M. ’25, Chynna Chung M.M. ’25, Zhenyi Wang M.M. ’25, and Kalyn Harewood M.M. ’25 for a few selections.
The program will include:

“I Get a Kick out of You” — “Anything Goes”
“Burn” — “Hamilton”
“Part of Your World” — “The Little Mermaid”
“Maybe This Time” — “Cabaret”
“I Dreamed a Dream” — “Les Misérables”
