About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive team. The CFO will be responsible for leading the strategic budgeting process, fiscal modeling, and long-term financial planning. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with state and federal regulations. The CFO will also oversee financial reporting, internal control structures, and engage in stakeholder communication and collaboration. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior executive financial role, preferably within a post-secondary institution or a similar public sector environment. The CFO will be expected to have a relevant Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree preferred, and must be adept at managing large and complex budgets. Key competencies for this role include financial leadership, strategic and operational leadership, and a commitment to equity and inclusion. The ability to adapt to a remote work environment and experience in fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace are also important.
