About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to lead its communications team in driving and executing a wide range of marketing and communications activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, operational oversight, and collaboration to support the marketing goals of the institution. This includes leading a team of marketing and creative professionals, managing the communication office budget, and ensuring that resources are used effectively. The role also involves developing and implementing communication and content strategies, executive and strategic communications, and marketing and brand strategies. The CMO will work closely with the Dean's office on special communication deliverables, monitor and manage reputational issues, and develop action plans in collaboration with various stakeholders. Applicants for the Chief Marketing Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years' of experience in public relations, communications, marketing, business, political science, public affairs, or a relevant combination of education and experience. A Master's degree or higher is preferred. The ideal candidate will have outstanding written and oral communication skills, leadership experience, and a proven track record in delivering successful marketing and communications initiatives. Experience in media relations, stakeholder communications, and social media strategy is essential. The role requires the ability to think strategically and creatively, work well under pressure, and manage multiple projects. The CMO will be expected to use data and metrics to evaluate and adapt strategies, and to develop and implement a strong brand strategy aimed at improving brand awareness and reputation.
