Rampart Transportation Inc is looking for a driver with experience to come haul freight for us. We are family owned trucking company based out of Nampa, Idaho that deals with dry van freight only. We operate mostly in the western states, but we do have some customers that we service that take us to the midwest and east coast. We are looking for someone who has a minimum of 2 years experience, has a clean driving record without any accidents, tickets, DUI's or major safety violations. We have new equipment to choose from, and we have automatic trucks with raised sleepers. Come work for a company that respects you and knows you by name, not a number. What we are looking for in a driver:
Team player / Safety orientated.
Compliance with FMCSA and DOT rules and regulations.
Performing truck inspections before and after each trip to ensure that all mechanical systems are in good working order.
Working with dispatch to carefully plan routes to ensure that deliveries are completed in a timely manner.
Maintaining the company truck by reporting issues to maintenance/dispatch/safety.
Maintaining an E-Log detailing the hours traveled, rest periods, miles covered, as well as all fuel, repair, and toll expenses.
Valid CDL Class A License.
Hungry to make money.
Minimum 2 to 3 weeks out on the road.
2 years tractor/trailer experience.
Clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
Must keep the truck clean and in orderly condition.
Be able to work 70/8 logs.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills.
