Role Overview:

Sodexo is seeking Clinical Nutrition Manager 3 for UC Health Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH . UC Medical Center is the region’s only academic medical center and the only verified Level I adult trauma center. What You'll Do:
  • Manage the clinical nutrition programs within UC Medical Center and UC Health West Chester
  • Supervise a team of entry-level and experienced dietitians
  • Advocate to expand and promote the role of Clinical Nutrition throughout the facility
  • Collaborate with the implementation and management of Sodexo’s meal service program and menu management system
  • Foster a culture of learning that promotes career growth and professional development
  • Proactively seek out and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders that are integral to moving the efforts of the department forward
  • Drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects

What You Bring:
  • Registered Dietitian with strong acute care experience and demonstrate a great clinical knowledge base
  • Proven supervisory or management experience with an aptitude for program growth and development
  • Experience driving malnutrition initiatives
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills

have experience with regulatory accreditation, regulatory readiness and review, and establishing and maintaining standards of care.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

 

Minimum Management Experience: 6 years experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timeframes within the overall policy framework 
Minimum Functional Experience: 5 years as experienced specialized practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to specialists.
