Only W2 - No C2C
Rate: $50/hour on W2

1. Cloud Management Azure & AWS (VMs, Storage, Networking)
2. Kubernetes & Terraform AKS, EKS, Infrastructure as Code
3. Database Administration Azure Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, SQL

• Experience: 5+ years in cloud infrastructure and administration
• Certifications: Azure or AWS certifications preferred
• Location: Must be local to Chicago for onsite work as needed

We are seeking a Cloud Generalist with hands-on expertise in Azure and AWS to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for virtual machine management, cloud networking, Kubernetes orchestration, Terraform automation, and database administration. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, security, and performance across cloud environments.

• Manage and maintain Azure & AWS Virtual Machines (provisioning, scaling, tuning)
• Administer Azure Storage & AWS Storage Accounts with a focus on security and data integrity
• Implement Azure Site Recovery for disaster recovery and business continuity

• Configure and optimize Azure Application Gateway, Load Balancer, and Traffic Manager for high availability
• Manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) & Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) for containerized applications

• Administer Azure Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL Database, and Managed Instances
• Support AWS RDBMS and ensure optimal performance

• Design and implement cloud solutions aligning with business goals
• Assist in migrating applications and processes to the cloud
• Monitor and optimize performance, cost, and resource allocation across Azure & AWS
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms using native cloud tools

• Cloud Platforms: Strong hands-on expertise in Azure & AWS
• VMs & Storage: Experience with VM provisioning, scaling, and storage management
• Kubernetes: Hands-on experience with AKS & EKS
• Networking: Familiarity with load balancers, application gateways, and traffic management
• Database Administration: Expertise in Azure Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, SQL databases
• Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in Terraform for cloud automation

• Certifications: Azure & AWS (Solutions Architect, DevOps, etc.)

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
