Maury Regional Health is seeking a creative individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment to fill the position of Communications Specialist in the Marketing & Communications (MarCom) Department. Responsibilities will include: Creating compelling consumer content across multiple media channels, including website, blog, social media, radio and email marketing. Developing news releases, feature stories, talking points, fact sheets and scripts. Producing short videos for use on social channels, including script writing, recording and editing. Assisting in monitoring social media comments, messages and reviews. Assisting in the creation of print materials in conjunction with the marketing and brand specialist, including flyers, posters, temporary signage, banners and other items as needed. This position reports to the department director and will work closely with the MarCom team to collaboratively develop content, ensure deadlines are met, measure campaign performance and make strategic recommendations to improve consumer engagement. The MarCom team drives all marketing and communications efforts for the entire Maury Regional Health system, including three hospitals, numerous outpatient departments, the Maury Regional Health Care Foundation and Maury Regional Medical Group practices. Qualifications A bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, journalism, communications or public relations, and a minimum of 2+ years working in a marketing or writing field with demonstrative abilities in news, feature and technical writing. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, AP writing style, video production and graphic design basics are advantageous.
