Copywriter III (Contract | Hybrid )

We’re seeking a mid-level Copywriter / Editor to support the development of an Annual Sustainability Report and related sustainability communications. This role is ideal for a strong storyteller who can translate complex, data-driven information into clear, compelling content for a broad audience.

You’ll collaborate closely with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to modernize and refresh sustainability reporting—reducing reliance on legacy content while improving clarity, consistency, and editorial impact.

• Type: Contract (3 months)
• Start Date: 02/16/2026
• Rate: $65–$85/hour
• Location: Hybrid (mostly remote; office availability as needed)
• Travel: None
• Interview Process: Multi-step interview

What You’ll Do

• Write, edit, and proofread content for the Annual Sustainability Report and related sustainability materials
• Translate technical, environmental, and data-heavy information into clear, accessible narratives
• Partner with subject matter experts to gather, review, and validate content
• Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and editorial standards across materials
• Support improvements to content development workflows, from data intake through digital publication

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional writing and editing experience
• Experience developing sustainability, ESG, or corporate responsibility reports
• Strong editing and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Proven ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required
