Base pay range $55.00/hr - $65.00/hr Hybrid in St. Louis 2x a week We are looking for a Senior Corporate Investigator to join our team! This role leads high‑complexity internal investigations into employee misconduct, including fraud, ethics violations, retaliation, and other workplace concerns. The ideal candidate will bring strong investigative expertise, excellent analytical judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively across Ethics, HR, Legal, and operational teams. Key Responsibilities Conduct complex internal investigations of alleged employee wrongdoing. Gather and analyze physical, electronic, and testimonial evidence to assess allegation validity. Develop detailed investigative plans, including scope, issues, required tools, and resources. Apply established investigative procedures to evaluate risk and policy compliance. Conduct interviews, assess credibility, identify contributing factors, and draw fact‑based conclusions. Strengthen anti‑retaliation efforts by identifying retaliatory behavior and reinforcing protections. Partner with Ethics, Human Resources, Legal, Safety, Quality, and other key stakeholders on joint investigations. Provide periodic case updates to stakeholders on a need‑to‑know basis. Prepare concise, standardized written investigative reports in the electronic case management system. Present findings and recommendations for remediation, risk mitigation, and corrective action. Mentor and support other investigators to promote knowledge sharing and consistent practices. Identify remediation opportunities to help prevent recurrence of misconduct. Basic Qualifications (Required) 5+ years conducting complex investigations, including interviewing, evidence collection, data analysis, and formal report writing. 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Preferred Qualifications 3+ years conducting formal employee‑relations or workplace investigations. 3+ years of EEO investigation experience, including fact‑finding and resolution determinations. 3+ years conducting misconduct investigations involving union‑represented employees . Experience using case management systems and forensic investigative tools/software. Relevant certifications such as: Leadership Professional in Ethics & Compliance (LPEC) Other workplace investigation or compliance certifications. Work Environment & Additional Information Hybrid schedule: minimum 2 days onsite; onsite presence required for interviews, training, and critical case needs. Must be able to respond to the assigned work location in a timely manner for urgent investigative matters.
