Job Title:                Cosmetologist
Reports To:             Spa Director
FLSA Status:          Non-Exempt
Salary:                     $18 – $20 hourly ( experience based)

 
Summary: 
Greek Peak Mountain Resort is currently looking for a New York State Licensed Cosmetologist. Ideal candidate will have experience with formal updos and nails. This is a part-time position. Must have weekend availability.

 
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
(Other duties may be assigned.)

1. Provide professional and relaxed service to all guests, with the highest level of professionalism and hospitality to ensure a pleasant experience.
2. Perform professional manicures, pedicures, hair services, up dos, make up, body treatments, waxing as requested by the guest.
3. Be aware of current trends, new techniques, laws, and procedures from the cosmetology industry.
4. Follow proper sanitation procedures and maintain a clean working environment per Spa and NYs Guidelines.
5. Clean and restock work area as required. Assist in retail area with sales, inventory and restocking.
6. Operate POS system as needed.

1. Valid NYS Cosmetologist License Required!
2. Must have weekend availability.
3. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two-year related experience.
4. Must be 18 years of age.
5. Ability to read and follow safety guidelines set forth by GPMR and NYS DOH.
6. Ability to give communicate in an attentive manner with guests.
7. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
8. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
9. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at this time we do not offer H1B sponsorships.
10. Must be able to lift 50lbs and push 30 lbs. on a regular basis.
