Job Summary

• The SPD Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Sterile Processing Department, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and cost effective services for all areas requiring sterile processing support.

Job Requirements

• Education

  • • Preferred: Associate's Degree 

• Experience

  • • Required: 3 years of SPD experience
    • Required: 1 year of leadership experience

• Skills

  • • Proven experience in Sterile Processing operations
    • Strong leadership and problem solving skills
    • Knowledgeable in regulatory aspects impacting SPD to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and standards.
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate with staff, outside departments, and leadership teams while maintaining the hospital’s mission, vision, and values.

• Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Required: CRCST or CBSPD with CHL must be obtained within 1 year of hire
