Job Description

Creative Services Marketing Intern, CBS News KCAL Los Angeles/Studio City (Summer 2025) The Marketing department is a team of Writer/Producers, Editors and Designers. The department is responsible for promoting the station initiatives and brand and supporting the creative needs of other departments. Marketing works closely with the news and sports departments to promote upcoming stories and is also responsible for producing campaigns to drive viewer sampling. Responsibilities: 60% Assist producers with creative production and post production, contribute ideas for promos, social posts 20% Search for video selects and screen video 15% Present a plan for station promotional items based on annual events and other station needs 5% Assist with station sponsored events 5% Meet with station leaders to get an overview of the various departments Internships are available to students who will be Juniors, Seniors, or Master's students in the fall of 2025. You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June. Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).
