Job Title : Data Analyst Intern

Classification : Temporary - 6 months, Part-Time Nonexempt

Hours Anticipated: 5-10 Hours per Week

General Job Summary

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Analyst to join our team, focusing on the accurate and efficient entry of data from college transcripts into our database system. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of student records and ensuring the accuracy of information used for academic and administrative purposes.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter data from physical or digital college transcripts.
• Verify and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors.
• Maintain confidentially of student records and adhere to data protection regulations.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all entered data.
• Meet daily and weekly data entry targets.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistency of data entry practices.
• Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed.
  
  

Desired Skills

• Fast typing skills with an eye for detail and familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms.
• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and databases.
• Strong understanding of confidentiality principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
  

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee will likely be placed in an office. The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing essential functions of the job in a typical office/workstation situation. Able to work sitting or standing at desk and operate
