We are looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst/Real Estate Tax & Due Diligence Analyst to join our team in Westchester County, New York. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting lease administration processes, ensuring compliance with real estate tax requirements, and contributing to due diligence efforts for a diverse portfolio. This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to collaborate across departments and deliver impactful insights.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to requests for rent rolls, financial reports, lease documents, and utility billing information.

• Collaborate with the leasing team to gather marketing data for supporting tax appeals.

• Assist in the preparation and submission of annual income and expense filings across various assets.

• Process tax refunds, reconcile accounts, and document approved transactions using relevant systems.

• Manage workflows for mail handling, tax bill processing, and check documentation.

• Extract tax, insurance, and lease clauses for analysis and review.

• Develop recovery models for acquisitions and dispositions, ensuring accurate data insights.

• Compile annual tax budget reports and provide detailed support for internal tax-related inquiries.

• Prepare and process Letters of Authorization (LOAs) for tax appeals.

• Maintain weekly work status reports to facilitate management review and decision-making.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in lease administration, preferably within a corporate or retail environment.

• Strong understanding of lease terms, legal language, and financial statement analysis.

• Proficiency in lease administration software such as Yardi, MRI, or JD Edwards

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams.

• Strong communication skills to deliver clear and concise information.

• Knowledge of real estate tax processes and compliance requirements.

• Experience in compiling financial reports and conducting ad hoc data analysis.
