Database Manager/Administrator I Minimum Qualifications Summary Certification & Education (
Required ) Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or other related discipline.
Experience (
Required ) Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in database management. Work experience of less than 5 years may be considered acceptable for candidates who otherwise meet all other qualifications and have familiarity with specific data management processes.

Job Objective The NLAP Database Manager/Administrator is responsible for the continuous development, collection, and delivery of data to this important event-based evaluation process. This employee will join a small team that is responsible for the safe, fair, and transparent processing of information that supports the decision-makers who attend each event. NLAP is designed to assess candidates through five measures: human performance and physical tests; psychological evaluations; executive writing; peer and subordinate evaluations; and an interview with other NSW leaders. NLAP is conducted at NSW facilities in San Diego, CA and Little Creek, VA throughout the year.
Responsibilities - Build and utilize templates, databases, and data tools utilizing Microsoft forms and other applications.
- Accurately present personnel performance summaries, analyze longitudinal data trends, and develop future data-centric deliverables with minimal guidance and supervision.
Minimum Job Requirements/Technical Requirements - Possess skills capable of analyzing longitudinal quantitative and qualitative compiled data and production and presentation of summaries to support executive decision makers
- Candidate should have demonstrated strong attention to detail; high accuracy of products produced; and communication skills to relate to senior officers during assessment interviews.
Education & Certification
Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or other related discipline.
