Job Description
Position: Day Habilitation Instructor
Description: The Day Habilitation Instructor provides adult Individuals with developmental disabilities with skill development through a combination of community and classroom learning experiences.
Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Assists each Individual in skill development, such as independent living, adaptive behaviors.
2. Supervises Individuals in the community
3.Leads group sessions with Individuals and facilitates the discussions to provide learning skills to be used in the community
4. Provides daily progress notes
5. Assess the needs of Individuals through observations and evaluations
6. Ensures compliance in the ISP and Day Habilitation Plan
Requirements:
High School Diploma
At least one year experience providing direct care service to adults with developmental disabilities
CPR and 1st Aid Certifications
Must have a current TB skin test
CNA not mandatory but a plus
Valid GA driver's license
Must be available - 8:30a-2:00p M-F
*Pay will be based on experience
