We’re looking for a skilled Dealership Controller to drive accuracy, accountability, and insight across our operations. Your Responsibilities:

  • Validate accounting team outputs for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Lead variance, trend, and root cause analysis to support operational decision-making.
  • Foster collaboration between dealerships and corporate functions to ensure financial and operational alignment.
  • Act as liaison for auditors, tax advisors, regulatory agencies, ESOP partners, and the company’s dealer management system (DMS) provider.
  • Oversee day-to-day administration of the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), including compliance, reporting, and coordination with plan administrators.
  • Partner with accounting managers (dealerships and sub-companies) to maintain high standards in financial operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
  • 7 to10 years of accounting leadership experience, preferably in automotive retail or a multi-entity environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, dealership accounting practices, and internal controls.
  • Proven experience auditing or reviewing complex financial statements.
  • Proficiency with DMS, ERP, and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License Required
