About Matrix Home Solutions: Matrix Home Solutions is a leading provider of high-quality building materials, specializing in drywall, studs, cabinetry, and various construction supplies. We are committed to delivering exceptional products to our clients in the construction industry, and we are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials, including but not limited to drywall, studs, and cabinetry, onto and off delivery trucks.
- Transportation: Operate company vehicles to deliver building materials to construction sites and client locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery, mileage logs, and other required paperwork.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients, ensuring a positive and professional representation of Matrix Home Solutions.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols during the loading, unloading, and transportation of materials. Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately.
- Communication: Collaborate with warehouse staff and other team members to coordinate efficient loading and delivery schedules.
- Problem-Solving: Address any delivery-related challenges or issues that may arise with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in delivery driving, particularly with construction materials, is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, including drywall, studs, and cabinetry.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Time-management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
