Job Overview
This is a direct hire position with a leading adhesive manufacturer in Blue Ash, OH, specializing in water-based and polymer-based adhesives. This is an opportunity to join a close-knit team at a smaller facility. Your contributions will have a significant impact on the operational efficiency and overall success of the manufacturing processes.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in various industrial settings. Your expertise will help ensure that all systems function optimally, directly influencing production uptime, equipment reliability, and safety standards. By maintaining high-quality standards, you will enhance customer satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of the facility.

Primary Responsibilities

- Installation : Install and assemble piping systems, including but not limited to water, steam, gas, and air lines.

- Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems to ensure optimal performance.

- Blueprint Reading : Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.

- Welding and Fabrication : Utilize welding techniques to join pipes and fittings, ensuring structural integrity and leak prevention.

- Troubleshooting : Diagnose issues in piping systems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.

- Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

- Team Collaboration : Work closely with other tradespeople, including electricians and HVAC technicians, to complete projects efficiently.

Minimum Requirements

- Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial pipefitting or a related field

- Pump and Piping Experience : Proven experience with pump rebuilds and piping installations.

- Education : High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pipefitting apprenticeship program preferred

- Physical Requirements : Ability to work safely at elevations up to 50 ft. above grade.
