Job Description

The Document Control Assistant is responsible for reviewing, organizing, and archiving physical records and files related to Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs and Facilities Management. This role ensures compliance with Pfizers Record Retention policies, accurately categorizing and labeling documents for long-term storage. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and coordination with internal teams.

Responsibilities


  • Review and organize physical records/files related to Environmental, Health and Safety programs as well as Facilities management
  • Compare documents with Pfizer Record Retention policy and guidelines
  • Organize files that must be retained in boxes and label for long-term record storage
  • Assures accuracy of tracking and archiving documents and records. Interacts with other Pfizer teams and areas regarding documents and files


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • A minimum of 5+ years of document control experience
  • Ability to decipher documents into categories
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift full file boxes


Location
  • This is a fully onsite role in La Jolla, CA


Note: contractors are engaged to provide services to Pfizer on a temporary basis in connection with a specific assignment. Contractors are hired and employed through Atrium, our third-party payrolling partner.

Pay Rate Range

Min Pay Rate $25

Max Pay Rate $30
