Job Description

The eDiscovery Project Supervisor will be responsible for assisting with the collection, processing, and management of electronic data for legal purposes. You will work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and IT professionals to ensure that all electronic evidence is properly preserved, analyzed, and produced in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting with the collection, preservation, and processing of electronic data for litigation, regulatory investigations, and other legal matters.
2. Conducting initial investigations to identify and preserve potential sources of electronic evidence, such as computers, servers, mobile devices, and cloud-based platforms.
3. Collaborating with IT professionals to ensure the proper acquisition and imaging of electronic devices.
4. Managing and organizing electronic data in compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
5. Utilizing eDiscovery software tools to efficiently filter, search, and analyze large volumes of electronic data.
6. Conducting quality control checks on processed data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
7. Assisting with the creation and maintenance of eDiscovery databases and workflows.
8. Providing technical support and training to attorneys, paralegals, and other staff members on eDiscovery tools and processes.
9. Assisting with the production of electronic evidence in various formats, including load files, metadata extracts, and native files.
10. Staying current with industry trends and advancements in eDiscovery technology and best practices.

Requirements:

1. A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
2. 4+ years of experience working in eDiscovery or a similar role within the legal field.
3. Strong knowledge of eDiscovery tools, such as Relativity, Nuix, or Concordance preferred.
4. Familiarity with computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
5. Proficient in data processing and analysis techniques, including forensic imaging and search indexing.
