Employees in this role should possess a minimum of six (6) years of experience in the specific craft and at least four (4) years of continuous Electric Transmission and/or Substation construction and maintenance experience at a supervisory level. The candidate must have skills in site grading, foundations, support structures, bus conductors, switch assembly, control and power cable termination, cable raceways, SCADA, telemetry RTU, and in-depth knowledge of OSHA standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring work quality and adherence to specifications.
• Coordinating billings, monitoring safety, quality, and production on-site.
• Managing equipment use, maintenance, and inventories.
• Participating in project meetings and coordinating personnel and equipment needs.
• Reviewing bids, scope of work, and preparing organization for projects.
• Securing quotes, supporting bid documentation, and reviewing contracts.
• Organizing construction plans, schedules, and safety plans.
• Monitoring project progress, safety, and compliance, and maintaining documentation.
• Participating in safety meetings and ensuring safety policies are followed.
• Managing project issues related to cost, progress, and schedule.
• Preparing reports, tracking expenditures, and ensuring proper project close-out procedures.

Minimum requirements include:

• Potential relocation based on work demands.
• Possession of a valid class B commercial drivers license (preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints and operate conveyance machinery.
• Adherence to safety policies and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and navigate uneven terrain.

This position is subject to DOT drug & alcohol testing regulations as per 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
