Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An elementary school in Zion, IL, is seeking a dedicated EL Resource Teacher to support students in grades 3-5. This contract position lasts for the full school year (CSY) and involves working 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, providing targeted instructional support for English Learners.
The ideal candidate holds a Professional Educator License (PEL) along with an ESL or Bilingual endorsement and has experience supporting general education and ESL students. You will work closely with classroom teachers and other staff to develop and implement language acquisition strategies that help English Learners succeed academically.
