About the Role

We’re seeking an entry-level interior designer to join our team as a Showroom Designer / Design Associate . This role is ideal for a recent design graduate who wants hands-on experience with real clients, real projects, and how kitchens, baths, closets, and interiors actually get built.
This is a client-facing, showroom-based role . While drawing and layout skills are important, this position is intentionally focused on early client engagement, selections, documentation, and coordination. Design authority and drawing responsibility grow over time as skills and judgment develop.

What You’ll Do (Initial Scope)

• Welcome walk-in clients and staff the showroom daily
• Give guided showroom tours and explain products and finishes
• Support discovery conversations in the showroom and on-site
• Visit client homes to take photos, notes, and document conditions
• Assist clients with selections (cabinetry, countertops, finishes, closets, baths)
• Coordinate closely with senior staff and a remote designer
• Organize samples, document decisions, and manage client feedback
• Support home shows, events, and showroom presentations
• Coordinate the development of showroom sales aids
• Prepare warranty packages for clients
• Support showroom activities - opening, closing, reception when need

Design & Drawing Growth

• Early exposure includes reviewing layouts, redlining, and internal sketches
• Simple design ownership (e.g., closets, vanities) may be added over time
• Full kitchen design authority is not expected at hire , but is a defined growth path

Who This Role Is For

• Recent interior design graduate or early-career designer
• Comfortable speaking with clients and guiding conversations
• Curious about how designs translate into real-world construction
• Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

Who This Role Is Not For

• Drafting-only or remote-focused candidates
• Designers expecting full creative authority immediately
• Candidates uninterested in client interaction or construction realities
