Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An elementary school in Arlington Heights, IL, is seeking an experienced EL Resource Teacher to support students in grades 3-5. This contract position offers 32.5 hours per week over five days and focuses on assisting English Learners within a general education setting. The role includes managing a caseload of students needing additional language support, with a primary emphasis on ESL instruction.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • ESL or Bilingual endorsement required
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students (grades 3-5)
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver specialized language support services
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted English language instruction to students on your caseload
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate EL strategies and accommodations
