Experienced Broker Trader

Chicago – Onsite

Base + Commission based on experience

About The Role:

As a skilled and experienced Energy Broker Trader on our team, you'll increase our presence in the commodities option trading space. You will have experience making options markets for brokers and banks in the commodities space and have an existing understanding of the broker / paper flow in the space.

  What You'll Do:

• Cultivate and grow relationships with trading counterparties
• Proactively manage the desk's position to ensure the portfolio falls within assigned risk limits
• Monitor trading algorithms and provide feedback to researchers and developers on areas of improvement
• Devise new, innovative ways to tune trading parameters to increase desk profitability

What We're Looking For:

• Experienced broker trader with 2-5 years of experience with a proven track record of success at a trading firm is an absolute must
• Capability to accurately and expeditiously price options under demanding market conditions
• Comfortable in confidently making fast decisions in high pressure environments
• Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
• Able to take on many responsibilities quickly with a high degree of operational excellence
