Local Farm / Farm Hand

Pay: $20/hour

Hours: Monday - Friday 7-5

Job Duties:

• Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops. This may include operating farm machinery, manual labor, and ensuring crop health.
• Perform regular maintenance and repair of farm equipment, tools, and facilities.
• Set up and monitor irrigation systems to ensure crops receive adequate water.
• Assist in managing pests and weeds using appropriate methods and tools.
• Sort, clean, and package produce for distribution or sale.
• Maintain accurate records of farm activities, such as planting dates, pesticide use, and crop yields.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Job Requirements:

• Strong work ethic and ability to work long hours in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of farm equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Applicant Requirements:

• Must have a clean background.
• Pass a drug screen.
