Avera is currently seeking a Flex Nurse – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

• Under the direction of the Director of Nursing the RN is responsible for the planning and coordination of direct resident care services.


• Serves as a core member of the interdisciplinary client care team.


• Has the necessary authority to assess, plan, evaluate and teach in patient situations.


• Carries out administrative responsibilities as delegated by Director of Nursing.

Education and/or Experience

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.


• Associates Degree is required.


• 3-5 years experience is required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure


• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. (Offered on-site)

Work Schedule

• Day/Night shifts; PRN
  
  
  • 6:00 am - 6:30 pm or 6:00 pm - 6:30 am
  
  
  • 6 weekend shifts per year
  
  

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

• $35.00 flat rate
