About the job
F&W is looking for a full-time forester to work in our Brookhaven, Mississippi location. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a minimum two year forestry degree. An additional 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar forestry field is preferred. Computer skills and other digital skills will be necessary. You must be able to navigate and hike long distances on uneven terrain; work in outdoor forested areas for extended periods in a variety of environmental conditions; carry a 15-30 pound backpack or vest loaded with equipment over longer distances for extended periods of time. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a crew and be able to prioritize/schedule a work week and have an insurable driving record.
