Job Description

Partners Personnel is seeking a Freight Broker for our client in the Gainesville, GA area. This is a Contract to Hire position – Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a great company. This is a great opportunity to work with great company.

SALARY: $50 - $55/k

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and carriers.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts
• Coordinate the movement of freight from origin to destination.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation.
• Track shipments and provide updates to clients as needed.
• Negotiate rates with carriers to optimize costs.
• Resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Freight Broker, Logistic Broker, or Freight Agent
• Strong understanding of freight transportation and logistics processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
