We are seeking an Front Desk-Administrative Assistant to join a team of school ambassadors, working collaboratively in its school front offices and with ad hoc projects as assigned. A successful candidate will thrive in a high-paced, student-centered environment and can work well independently, as well as collaboratively in teams. Confidentiality, being able to exercise sound judgement, ability to effectively communicate with all school constituents, and to balance projects with day-to-day activities are key to fulfilling this role.
Responsibilities include: assist building administrators with general administrative duties, assist with data collection systems, prepare attendance reports, prepare announcements and correspondence, prepare school information for classrooms, answer phones and record phone messages, report incidents/issues to administration, work in collaboration with other personnel in the general operation of the school, and perform other duties as assigned. The Administrative Assistant also provides support for various other administrators and departments as requested.
This is a full-time, year-round position that will start as soon as possible. This position is nonexempt and is eligible for overtime with a salary range of $68,000 to $71,000 ($32.70 - $34.13/hour), depending on relative experience and is based on working a twelve-month schedule. The hours for this position flex between 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM and 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM, depending on what support our after-school and evening programming needs are on any given day. The position would include some weekend work and hours would flex during the week to accommodate any weekend coverage.
