Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Learning Developer to join our training team. The Learning Developer will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering engaging learning experiences for our employees, leveraging multimedia and instructional design principles. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of analytical skills, technical expertise, and creativity to ensure the effectiveness and impact of our training programs. This position is hybrid role based in our home office with some work remotely. Occasional travel to various sites required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop e-learning courses using video editing software to create interactive & engaging learning experience.
  • Design and implement instructional design courses and curriculum, applying adult learning principles.
  • Consult and work independently with subject experts to incorporate relevant information into training content.
  • Enhance learning outcomes and retention by utilizing green screen technology and drone operation.
  • Apply appropriate tagging, cataloging, & mapping of training content in the Learning Management System.
  • Travel to various WSI sites (25%) to perform duties related to preparation & course creation.
  • Additional duties, as needed.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and best practices in training.
  • Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting abilities to address training needs effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education technology, multimedia design, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in instructional design, e-learning development, and multimedia production.
  • Proficiency in videography, including filming, editing, voice over and post-production.
