Job Overview:
Green Public Insurance Adjusting is seeking a dedicated Insurance Claims Adjuster to join our team in Gahanna, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing insurance claims, assessing property damage, preparing reports, and negotiating settlements to ensure that policyholders receive fair compensation. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. This role requires the successful candidate to report for work daily at the Gahanna, OH office location.

Key Responsibilities:

· Investigate, evaluate, and manage insurance claims from initiation to resolution.

· Assess damage to property, gather relevant evidence, and document findings.

· Prepare detailed and accurate reports to support claim evaluations.

· Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other professionals involved in the claims process.

· Negotiate claim settlements and provide guidance to clients throughout the claims process.

· Maintain compliance with all state and company standards and regulations.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
· Strong knowledge of insurance policies and coverage.
· Excellent analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple claims simultaneously.
· Must successfully pass the Ohio Public Insurance Adjusting licensing exam within 30 days of hire .
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
